Is there a way to get my name to show up on other peoples caller id? I have a new Vonage number that I activated just the other day, when i call people the number shows up, but the name is unavailable.
Also when people call me, I have not yet got any names to show up, just the number. The same callers who's names show up on the Verizon line, but not the Vonage line. Is there anything I can do?

The first answer is no. Vonage will only show your number and usually city on outgoing calls. It's a feature that would make a lot of people happy if Vonage would offer name with outgoing caller ID. Second answer is yes. Vonage offers incoming caller ID with name. So you should see the same info on your Vonage line as you do with your landline for incoming calls. You may have to call tech support though. They are the only ones who can fix it.
To my knowledge, and subject to correction: If your telephone number was ported to Vonage, then your outgoing call will show the name id of what the telco was showing.
If a new number, only the Vonage number will show on outgoing calls, and not a name associated.
