Alright, I'm installing a Vonage Motorola VT2442 to my sister's computer/phone and Everything went fine until we tried to install the phone. The phone works otherwise, but when plugged into the Vonage VT2442 Phone 1 port, the phone 1 light does not appear, but rather the phone 2 light. In fact, afterward, the Phone 2 light did not turn off and has been on regardless of whether or not a phone line was plugged into it. Resetting the Cable Modem, Router, Computer, and turning the phone on and off had no effects. Perhaps it is a defective VT2442?

The VT2442 has known firmware issues with the phone lights. If everything is working right otherwise, ignore it.
