I believe the dial tone is generated from your Vonage device (locally).

Try the reset buton on the Vonage device.

I would try a different cord between the Vonage device and the phone base unit. I would also double check that the phone base unit is getting power.

If the AT&T is a two line phone, be sue that you are in the proper Jack on the unit and you are selecting the proper line.

Only thing I can think of (and never heard of) is that if your Vonage device has wireless networking, it operates on the same frequency as a 2.4 ghz phone. Usually, the phone disrupts wireless networking not the other way around.

I wonder if the single line phone is 900 mhz or 5.8 ghz which does not share the same frequency.

A couple of work arounds:

Assuming your Vonage device has wireless networking, move the phone further away from your Vonage device.

Use your computer to access your Vonage device, and change the wireless frequency channel (if toward channel 11, change to 1, or if toward channel 1 move to 11)

I am absolutely stumped! Perhaps someone else on the forum might have an idea.

Bterrier, your first post wasn't too clear about your setup. What does your network look like?

if the single phone handset is working, there is no problem on the Vonage router, try checking the handset that are not working, try plugging it to a regular pstn line and check if it works
