I've found that Verizon will let you have a DSL line only in parts of the the south. This is only becuase Regulators have mandated it to be so or Verizon was no longer going to be able to do business. They can't seem to do it any place else because of "Technical Difficulties." More like "Financial Dificulties." They can do it in part of the country but not another? Bull! I've written to my congressmen, FCC, etc. This is nothing more than being held hostage. I have a cell phone, why do I need a POTS line? I don't. These guys are great at selling services, they suck as selling services you actually need!
