Post subject: Tivo wireless connectivity with the Motorola VT2542
Is anyone having problems getting the Tivo wireless adapter to connect to the Motorola VT2542
Vonage
box? The Tivo adapter connects to my previous wireless router, but I just can't get it to work with the VT2542. I'm actually very comfortable working with router settings and I'm pretty sure I have everything set up correctly.
The problem I'm having is that Tivo adapter sees the VT2542, but it says that it can't find a DHCP server. I even tried setting the IP up manually in Tivo, but this still didn't work (I got a message about not being able to connect to the gateway).
I should mention that my wireless laptop connects to the VT2542 with no problems.
Is anyone having similar problems? The VT2542 is pretty much useless to me if my Tivo box can't connect to it.

bmills, did you finally get this to work. What did you do. I'm also thinking about the TIVO adapter.
Thanks.

bobweiser,
I ended up returning the Motorola VT2542 a while back.
I believe I got the Tivo to work by changing the wireless security from WPA2 to WPA, but I'm not 100% sure.
