Availabilty of Vonage Phone Adapter

Thanks for all the help. I did call them back and complainted that I could not get any adapters from local retail stores. They agreed to send a replacement. I finally received a refurbished replacement 5 days after it was ordered even though I paid for overnight shipping.

Ever since I signed up in January 2005, I've been using the RT31P2 which has been acting up lately. I have to reboot it every few days otherwise my broadband connection goes down and I'm without phone service.

I'm gonna call customer service. BTW, which adapter has been the best put out by Vonage so far?

I wonder if customer service would be able to send me a wireless adapter since the one I have is pretty outdated.

I too have noticed that Vonage adapters are not readily available at retail stores. I did notice, however, that Target carries two different adapters and they are on clearance/reduced price now.

D-Link VTA-VR $29.99 (normally $49.99)
Vonage V-Phone $19.99 (normally $39.99)

I saw these at the two Targets near me in Durham, NC. The prices were marked as "temporary markdown" or something like that.

I've been looking for a replacement for my PAP2 since it's finicky - won't let me change settings, but want one that has two Ethernet ports so can connect it between my modem and router if needed.

Update to my January 2008 post:

Placed a call to customer support to ask for a firmware update since I was rebooting my RT31P2 more often than before. Sometime during the "pushing" of the firmware, I now have NO phone service.
I get the "Router is restarting" message. I've tried everything under the sun, with no luck.

So, to resolve this mishap, I placed an order for the RTP300.
