Hmmm. Did you talk to Vonage tech support before tossing the RT31P2? If the Vonage system thinks you don't have telephone number, that would certainly explain a lot. |

I got a dial tone after a day of dead phone. Vonage in Idaho can fix the problem, but without phone service, how can I get in touch with them? Email is my preferred method of contact or an online help desk. Right now I just tried to call Viera Veteran's Health Care Clinic and the line went dead. I hung up to dial again and got a recorded message that I am familiar with "Your Vonage device has incorrect Network settings." This is usually caused by being online in Windows XP on my Apple MacBook Pro. The remedy is usually just to get back to my Apple OS 10.4, Tiger mail. I suppose things will just work themselves out after a day or two, but I really should get reliable phone service and, at least, an immediate way to rectify these irritating "...incorrect Network setting" messages. I'm in Apple now so now the problem is there too. Help! |
