I was wondering if GotVMail is a good way to get music on hold, extensions, a main greeting, etc. Does anyone have any experience with it or is there something that may be better? Thanks a lot. |

I've been searching for a good auto attendant & hold music service or easy to setup hardware and ran into gotvmail. I'll call them tomorrow to find out if they charge me for the entire length of the call they forward.
This may be a stupid question for some, but if I get a call and it forwards to my cell phone and the call lasts for 60 mintues, will I get charged for 60 minutes by gotvmail or just for the fact that it took it 2 or 3 mintues to connect.
I'll post tomorrow. |

Just so you know you will get billed from GotVmail for the entire length of the call.
So if I call you and we talk for 60 minutes, you will get charged for 60 minutes.
They talk about no double leg billing, but what this means is that they don't charge you 120 minutes for that call (60 for my incoming call and the other 60 to connect to you)
Most of the hosted voicemail/attendant systems work this way since they have to make and pay for the the call to you. |

thanks Joe,
Man, that's not going to work. I have clients calling me for hours.
All I'm looking for is a piece of hardware to do auto attendant and hold music for cheap. Do you know of what will work with Vonage?
thanks |
