FYI the firmware just does not update itself even if you rebooted the router. It must be sent from tech support. I have also heard through some posts that Vonage is giving customers a flat out NO on flashing their routers with newer firmware at customers request. It is becoming apparent that tech support at Vonage is below standard and there are no rules or policies on what kind of service each one gets individually.

Please post current version for models mentioned in subject field, anybody who knows the facts!

I received firmware version 1.26.01 for my RT31P2 earlier this week. I believe it is the current version but not sure.

I agree with you that the tech support at Vonage is below standard and I went through a huge hassle to get the above firmware. I researched why my router kept resetting itself whenever it felt like it and found that it was a bug in the 1.24.xx firmware. Once tech support was convinced that this problem was corrected, they sent me the new firmware. Keep in mind that firmware updates are generally released to address specific issues. If you aren't having any issues addressed by a firmware update, there is a chance that there could be new problems introduced with new firmware. Why 1.24.xx worked perfectly for some people and was buggy as hell for others I'm not sure.

That said, sometimes firmware updates introduce new features. If the customer requires these features, then Vonage should make them available. The option is there for a customer to upgrade his/her own firmware so posting it on a website shouldn't be a big deal.

Got the new firmware also (1.26.01 for my RT31P2). I checked the other day and it wasn't updated, today it is. Didn't request anything.
