I'm 30 miles North of San Francisco with Comcast as my ISP. Speed test at bottom.

Due to our high cable bill, I was talked into the Comcast Triple play that included the Comcast phone service. My old cable modem was taken away and replaced with a Arris TM502G - A cable telephony modem.

Ever since install, my Vonage service has suffered. Today, each time I received a call, no one can hear me. Each time I placed a call, I hear them, but they don't hear me. This happens intermittently, but now more frequently.

I called Vonage, and got pushed up to level 2 support and the Vonage tech said that the Arris modem drops Voip packets and is known to disrupt the service.

I've been using Vonage for close to 2 years, and up 'til now been very happy with the service.

Anyone having similar problems??

I'll probably dump the digital voice and get a different cable modem back and hope that resolves the problem

I can't comment on the tech's criticism of the Arris modem, but I don't see anything in your test data to explain the problem. If possible, you should test your Vonage box using someone else's broadband service.

I recently had Digital Voice installed, I basically got it because i could get some premium channels and it for the same price as I was already paying for 2 years.

Both Vonage and Digital Voice work well, although I had to hard reset my Vonage wireless router after the Digital Voice install to get it to work. Since than it been fine. Vonage's online management is definitely better, the online info for Digital Voice has been down since I had it installed. I've had Vonage for a few years now with no problems.

I am having the same problem. I recently moved, the service at my old house was great, however we had Directv and I only had comast internet. When we moved I got the triple play serivce and whenver I call or someone calls me they can't hear me for about 15 seconds then it comes back. This happens every minute or two.

I replaced my Vonage router and it got better but it still drops ever so often. I have had comcast out several times and they said the signal is good. No problems with the internet just with the calls. I am unsure of what to do.

I may switch back to my old modem since comcast failed to ask for it back and they didn't charge me for it. Very fustrating, i am just trying to hold on for verizon FIOS so I can DUMP Comcast.

Most Vonage problems are caused by a bad internet connection.
Run the Voip speed test
http://www.vonage-forum.com/voip-speed-test.html
and post the results. It will give a starting point for your problems.
