Post subject: Will my Motorola/Vonage Modem Work in France?
I will be spending 2.5 months in the South of France this spring and hope to use my Motorola modem VT2142 for
Vonage
service as I do here in Miami.
In previous posts I read that Linksys modems will work in France, but I am curious if anyone has had success with the Motorola version.
I have a virtual office and take my Motorola modem on extended trips to Chicago, New Orleans, NYC, etc with great success. I need to be in constant phone contact for work, and before arriving in France I need to be sure that
Vonage
will function as needed.
Any relevant feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks!

if you bought the device from
Vonage
UK all you will need is a plug adapter to change from 3pin to 2pin. If you bought the device from
Vonage
in the US you should check that you have an adapter that works with 220v (it should say 110-220/240v 50-60Hz.
If it only says 110v you will need to use a voltage converter.
