Post subject: Need help configuring network!
My current setup is as follows :
Speedtouch ADSL modem ( i'ts configured so that i log in at the modem ) > Linksys WRT54G Router > Pap2 V.2.0
Voip
phone adapter> and also my computer coming from the router.
So far, the only way I can even get internet on my computer is just when i go strait from the modem. I'm wondering if you guys can help me configure my router so that it can give connectivity to both my computer and my
Vonage
device.
Thank you.

Did you have the router before you started using
Vonage
or were you going straight from the modem to your computer? I'm guessing no so you probably need to set up ppoe in your router settings. Log into your router and one of the first pages should help you set up your internet connection type.

Also, go into the network setup on your computer. How it's set up now should give you a lot of clues about how the router needs to be set up on its WAN side. Post the details here and the networking experts should be able to help.

You probably had to set up your network connection on you PC like this:
http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/wxpadcon.html
If that is right, then you wil need to do something similar for your router, allowing it to sign on for your PC:
My older Linksys router has this dialog for PPPoE
Enable Disable
User Name:
Password:
Connect on Demand: Enable Disable
Max Idle Time: Min.
