Guys,
Steps
1.Note down the MAC ID of the PC START--> RUN---> CMD-----> IPCONFIG /ALL Note down the Physical address from the ethernet adapter local area connection eg: 00-0B-AA-EE-DD-88.
2.Enable DHCP on your computer and then connect BSNL---VONAGE---PC
3. Switch on the DSL Modem (BSNL)
4. Switch on the Vonage router (VT2142). (wait for 2-3 minutes)
5.In the web browser, type http://192.168.15.1 and press ENTER. In the Username and Password fields, type router and click Log In. The HOME page is displayed.
6. Click SETUP followed by WAN Configuration. From the Type drop-down list, choose PPPoE.
7.Type the Username and Password given by BSNL service.
8. Check OVERIDE MAC and type in the MAC id of your pc (physical address) replace - with : 00:0B:AA:EE:DD:88
9.Click SAVE and then Connect to start your Internet connection.
10. Open web browser and connect to some website.
Thats it once you clone your MAC id on Vonage you'll be through.
If this doesnt work then on step 6 dropdown menu choose STATIC and pulg in the IP, subnet mask DNS and click enable PPTP, add username and then add the MAC ID. |
