I just got off the phone, again, with Vonage. They continue to claim that they know about the problem, that it's been happening to many customer for two days, and that they do not know when it will be fixed. They suggested it would take another 24 to 48 hours, at least.
To me, this is a breakdown in the basic service that we should expect from any phone company. To make matters worse, Vonage seems to be doing nothing about broadcasting the issue either via email or the Dashboard on our Vonage account Web sites.
They told me that they are also having problems with other features, international calls, and the account Web site. |

Sounds like a series of problems, along with the outage the other day. I am sure they are prioritizing them and are working down the list, probably call forwarding being of lesser importance than just getting the thing to work again.
I wonder what happened |

Here is what I show on the Service Announcements:
Service Announcements Certain customers may be experiencing an issue with no dial tone, having trouble registering their device or feature settings not taking effect. We are aware of this situation and are currently working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Some lines have already been repaired and your device may just need a reboot. Feature settings may take up to 24 hours to take effect. We will continue to update this website with additional information. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Note: "Feature settings may take up to 24 hours to take effect. " |

Thanks - I'm not seeing that on my Dashboard at all. But at least it feels like Vonage is aware. |

Great! I enabled Do Not Disturb last night and now I can't disable it! Which basically means I can't get incoming calls! I'm sure this is related to all the other problems over the last couple of days. I don't remember ever seeing problems this bad. Looks like a lot of people are feeling this one! |

Mine was fine all day, and just acted up again, 2 rings then to my cell. Funny thing is I don't remember the last time I used call forwarding, it is doing it on it's own. |

Is this forum censored? After complaining about Vonage, Im no longer able to access this forum web site from my HOME PC. Site is working from every other PC I try. I had to use a proxy server (j-tunnel) to post this message. Very Strange.
Im getting the message:
"Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/1.3.39 Server at vonage-forum.com Port 80" |
