For 2 days now, I am having issues with the caller not being able to hear me after about 1-2 minutes. I can make & receive calls ....it is just my voice can't be heard after 1-2 minutes.

I have 2 Vonage devices (1 home & 1 office & this occurs on both). It consistently happens with every call (both incoming & outgoing). Is anyone else having this problem? I'm trying to determine if this is due to vonage's outage right now or an issue on my end. Is anyone else having this same problem that you think is associated with the Vonage outage?

I am also facing a similar issue since past 1 week. I have Vtech 8100-1. To me it looks like a battery issue. For aboyt 5 minutes and sometimes up to 10 minutes I am able to talk. then people are not able to hear me. They hear lot of disturbance. I have been using Vonage for about 1 year and 6 months and never had this issue before.

This will help to determine if it is an equipment problem or an internet connection problem.

A lot of Vonage problems are caused by a poor internet connection. (Bad splitters, eroded wiring, etc.) These readings will help immensely.

Shortly after posting this, I called Vonage support. They checked my internet and all was fine there. I had a new Router, I told them this & they checked my settings & thought I had everything set appropriately for the router to work with Vonage. They told me my issues were likely due to the Vonage outage as they had had similar reports from others.

Well, the weekend went by and I decided to switch out my new router for the old router b/c this was affecting my business line as well. I thought it was worth a try to see if it could be the router. That solved the problem immediately. Obviously, there was something with the new router that was knocking my own voice out after a couple minutes. I continue to use my old router. At this point, I've not called Vonage support back to try to figure out what is set wrong with the new router. I unfortunately just don't have the time right now.
