Post subject: Outage
Seems like my area is out and that leaves me with no way to contact
medical help. I am a diabetic and heart patient. This stinks.

Most folks have a cell phone whch works as their back-up to
Vonage
or standard Phone line (POTS)
You act as if you have never had a phone outage before

If you have a medical condition that requires you to contact help via phone- you should always have a backup system (even to a landline)
