I've had no dialtone for about 24 hours, and been trying to reach the customer service by calling that 800 number. they put me on hold for more than 30 minutes..
it finally got through, and the agent told me to reset the phone device which I'd already done twice. after the futile attempt to revive the phone by resetting the device, she told me they're having a technical problem for several hours and engineers are working on it. how come she didn't know that before telling me to reset the device? how come they have the problem only for serveral hours when I didn't have dialtone for 24 hours?
i just hungup the phone without arguing furture, because i realized there's nothing she could do. should i have asked her to put advanced technician on?
anyway, it's not working, and i'm considering going back to traditional ground line phone...because i have had same problem several times. it is a on going problem they can't fix. |

Vonage service is out in Central Kentucky as well since last night. Vonage technical support told me the same thing. It's a Vonage wide outage issue that is affecting their entire USA Vonage network. They are aware of this, and have their technical staff working on the issue.
By the way, it took me 55 minutes on hold before finally getting through to one of their technical staff members just to find this information out. So they must be flooded with alot of inbound customer calls pertaining to this outage. |
