I'm having similar problems to others on the forum tonight (If I call my home from my cell, I get a fast busy, outbound calls work), but with an added twist:
However, a few minutes later, the home phone rings with caller ID saying that it's my cell - of course, no one is there since I didn't make the call.
additionally, my Vonage line is continuously calling the last outbound dialed person (and again, no one is there since we didn't make the call).
I live in the Boston area.

I'm having the same issue in Southern California. I'm even getting phantom phone calls from one of my cellphones to the other. I think this is due to the fact that one of my cellphones is setup as the network outage number in Vonage. |

I called wife and snapped at her because I thought she was sitting on her phone or was somehow pressing the send button, because she kept calling me but no one was there. Thanks Vonage, I will now be sleeping on the sofa, thanks to you. |

yeah i've been waiting for a call for about 3 hours. didn't realize the service has been out until i received a txt message from her saying she can't get through. no outgoing or incoming calls, but luckily no phantom calls either. located in nyc. |

I'm also in the Boston area and having this problem. Unfortunately, it was with the phone number of a new teenage friend, and it started occuring at 11 PM, leading to the problem of having to contact their parents at this hour trying to figure out what's wrong. |

Yiikes! I started receiving phantom calls from my sister. First on my Vonage line and then on my alternate line. This lead to quite a little conflict. I had to shut down all the ringers in my house.
I've been on hold for over 45 minutes and counting. This in not a pretty situation. |

Same problem here on Long Island (631). Not that location matters really... I keep getting called by a number that called me hours before. My father in NC (also using Vonage) just called me on my cell because he was worried. His phone has been ringing with my number for an hour....
This is by far the worst Vonage failure I've seen in years. This problem occurs every few months but not so bad a this...
The web site doesn't say anything is wrong! A few hours ago the site said a "few customers were experiencing problems".... Yeah a few hundred thousand.. If this was ten years ago you'd read about it in the paper! |

Yeah, having the same problem in State College, PA.
Receiving phantom calls from Pittsburgh at 2am is not fun. |
