Earlier this evening my friend was calling me and my line was ringing and when i picked up i could not hear him this happened a few times, then my vonage phone started forwarding to the number i have it forwarded to if the system goes down but if i answered that phone I also could hear nothing. Assuming it was my new Netgear router that was the issue i unplugged my vonage device, Netgear router and shutdown my pc and rebooted everything. Now I can make outgoing calls but cannot get any incoming calls at all, please could anyone advise me if they are getting the same issue.. Sad and if they know what the problem is?

Mine is also down. Been down for a few hours now and I have tried to reset everything. I actually have two vonage devices for 3 lines and neither work.

Been on hold for 65 minutes and still haven't talked to anyone with Vonage. This is terrible customer service.

the last time i had this kind of issue was about a month ago, it took them over a week to fix my line, because I jst got a new Netgear router i thought maybe it could have been that, i was told at that time that all va area codes were affected, so tonight after assuming it was a va issue again i ordered a virtual # in NJ to see if that would work needless to say it didnt and i hope they will refund me for that line tomorrow lol Embarassed

If you look at the other posts in the forum, it seems it's a vonage wide outage.

They just put this service announcement on their site...

Some customers may be experiencing an issue with no dial tone. Our engineers are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience in this matter.

Not sure where they are based!!!
