I have been having issues all day. We are in Washington State and its been terrible. Any number that has tried to call me gets forwarded to my cell, then it will call me 10-15 times in a row with no one there. I wonder if finally all of vonages bad customer service and outsourcing has pissed someone off bad enough to somehow take their system down. They customer service is not answering the phones any more but according to ther website there is no service announcements at this moment, so that must mean that everything is just fine. Yeah right. I,m not being dumb, I know we get most of the time good phone service for a cheap price, but their service has gone down more and more every day. I have spent about 60 hrs this year alone with their tech support (lack of) people. I think I can speak Indian now...

Phone service was out in 440 area for a few hours and has now returned.
Hopefully it will last!

Can anyone verify if Vonage is down and for how much of the USA and/or other countries?

The time stamp for postings on this website is a bit off. It is currently 11:14 PM in Massachusetts. I am in the Western Part of our state. A message just keeps repeating that phone does not register. I'm on hold via cellphone for over 45 minutes.

I already mentioned being a Sunrocket victim, a Vonics victim and now very wary about Vonage, though the quality of calls matched Sunrocket. Vonics never had anything close to reliability or responsivity.

So where can someone officially post that Vonage is down? Why won't Vonage (my two week old provider) formally announce, as they state, on my account that service is out? I only found out about this site via Google.

It's a bit relieving to know we're not alone, but at the same time it's a bit distressing as well to think of millions without phone. Next stop maybe just SKYPE.

Cry I am also having major problems in NJ. I disconnected the line from my Network to see if Vonage would forward my calls to my cell phone (Verizon provider). This did not help.

I called from a Verizon cell phone, and received "Your call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again". This is followed by my cell phone receiving the call forward but the caller can not respond as Verizon has the cell phone locked with a phone error response.

We should at least have a place in the Vonage website that shows area outages with updates. This will, us from calling and waiting for customer service, that will probably just tell us that their support team is working on it.

Everything appears to be working again at least for me. I'm able to call myself with my cellphone and take the call.

This brings back to mind similar oddities with Sunrocket just prior to leaving us former members out on a limb.
Then again, could be just a coincidence.
We shall see soon enough.

It appears to come and go. But mostly down for me since I noticed this evening around 6:30 PM EST.

System is still out here in WA state. I can make calls but I cant received. According to the Vonage website everything is ok. No service anouncents at this time. So we must all be crazy and are imaginning the system issues.
