Same problems here in Bloomington, IN. No inbound or outbound.
Interestingly, calls forwarded to the cell cannot be answered (phantom) BUT if I let it dump to voice mail, then callers CAN leave a message.
For me, the lesson: don't answer the cell. Argh.

I am in the 603 area code(Eastern Time Zone) and have been off line for about 3 hours. I tried calling support. But they don't even let you hold. They just say "All engineers are busy at them moment, please try your call again later."
I have the IP 8100-2 when I try and make a call all I get is thie "This telephone line can not register to the
Vonage
network."
I just called(using my cell) WBZ news tip line to tell them about this issue. So hopefully the 11:00 news will run a story on
Vonage
. Letting people know - SINCE
Vonage
IS NOT DOING ANYTHING TO LET PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT IT THE PROBLEM.

Post subject: I am experiencing Phantom calls on my Vonage phone and...
I am also experiencing a remarkably annoying issue. Both my
Vonage
phone and the phone that calls are forwarded to if
Vonage
is down, are getting phantom calls, causing my cell voice mail to fill up. So, I need to turn it off, and also unplug my phone from the
Vonage
adapter. Now, my friends and family can't get ahold of me, and I am going to need to waste cell minutes. Well, with a little magic I guess I can check my cell messages on my
Vonage
phone, whenever it works again. Did I mention that when someone tries to call me, depending on the carrier they either get disconnected or a nice message comes up stating that the call cannot be completed as dialed.
I spent over an hour on hold. I asked if
Vonage
was experiencing any issues, and they acted suprised and asked what I meant. After a frantic explination from me, they told me that within 24 hours of 9:30Eastern the issue would be resolved.
My issue started happening earlier in the week with connection issues with incoming calls. Escalated early this afternoon with an inability to answer incoming calls. It peaked early this evening when I unplugged my modem and
Vonage
router to try and resolve the issue. When the volume of Phantom calls (all from known numbers) increased, I proceeded to hit that fancy reset button on both my modem and router. It seemed to work, for about 5 minutes.
****edit: I am in N. Grosvenordale, CT, (Northeast Connecticut) using Charter as an ISP.
****edit2: I tried to turn forwarding off, and remove the number saved, both unsuccessful, I am getting hammered.

Vonage
website and take ur divert off on there to stop calls being forwarded to ur cellphone so u can at least keep that on and then when the issue is resolved u can put the divert back on, thats what i did or i would have thrown the phone at the wall lol!

Count me in here in Northeastern Ohio. First I had a problem receiving calls, then it shut down completely. I got through to customer service earlier and then I got transfered only to receive a message that "no one is available". Click. Then I couldn't' reach Customer service again.
I've been down now for about 4 hours.
Also this subject is being discussed in at least 3 threads.

I didn't know that my service was down until my son tried calling me from his cellphone. He said the message was that all circuits are busy try your call later. I tried calling from my Verizon cellphone and I got a message saying that my
Vonage
number was disconnected please check the number you are calling and try again. I call my
Vonage
number again from my cellphone and I got the message saying all circuits are busy try calling again. This same problem happened to me sometime back in October of this year. I try getting an answer from Customer Service and they couldn't give me answer for the problem other than is service working now! I guess you get what you pay for! May have to switch back to ATT or go with Comcast
