Yup same here vonage completely dead Northwest Surbs of Chicago... been hold for over an hour with CS...
I want a refund for this month!!!

wow it looks like the entire service is down i wonder why outbound calls are fine and it jst affects incoming callls tho, anyone got any ideas on that?

I had my router go out two days ago and replaced it last night. Didn't hook my adapter up until early this morning and while I was able to get the new router up right away, I've been trying all kinds of things to get the dial tone. I finally figured it was the old Linksys PAP2 adapter and a conflict with the new router...or some electrical problem that fried both...but even after running out and buying a new adapter, still nothing. Tried to call Customer Service to register the new MAC address and have been on hold. Found this forum during that time...looks like the problem is bigger than just my adapter.

yea xp i wouldnt do anything else till this main issue is resolved, would b nice if vonage put an accurage service announcement on their site tho, the problem is obviously much bigger than an intermittent dial tone and if i get one more phantom call im gonna scream! lol

I just got home and my vonage was down -- got a message "This phone cannot connect to the vonage network." I rebooted everything, unplugged my router, my cable modem, etc., and it still isn't working. I'm in Los Angeles.

To everyone,
I'm here in California and my Vonage is also out. It was working till the latter half of the afternoon here. I guess i'm just confirming to everyone that we haven't lost our minds. I tried resetting EVERYTHING, and no luck. Hopefully it will get fixed soon. Did anyone try calling customer service?

Same issue in Seattle. I can call out but no one can call me....sorry call cannot be completed.....This really ****. Angered

Glad I have a cell phone as a backup. Thumbs Up

Same problems here intermittent dialtone cant dial in or out phantom calls on cellphone 413 area code western mass
Got ahold of tech support after 1 1/2 hrs said there was a problem with their authentication servers my guess is verizon changed somthing again
in routing tables or switching etc but could be wrong
