I am having the same issue in Scottville Michigan. This is a 231 area code. I am able to get any inbound calls they forward to my cell, but when I pick up the line is dead no sound. People calling say it rings busy or they get a message my number doesn't work or something to that effect, yet I am still able to make calls. I have been on the line now for 45 min and still no answer.. This is really bad CS in my opinion. I have been a customer now for a year.

Post subject: Update on vonage problem
I'm near the dallas, tx area. Just talked to Tech Support (if you call it that) after being on hold for over an hour. They asked if I live near Mexico because he had a similar issue with someone in California that lives near Mexico. Which I thought was very odd that he would ask me that since what that has to do with their vonage problem. He said they are working on it and said it could be up in an hour. I would'nt hold my breath on that one after talking to Tech Support since he didn't really have a clue on whats the problem (which he admitted). Oh I have to mention his "support skills": I said Vonage is suppose to be reliable service isn't it? He said "What do you want me to say that its reliable?" (scarastically). I hope all of tech support is not like the one I talk to.

Post subject: Glad I checked here...
Didn't see anything on their website at all.
Have been on hold (so far) for 1 hour and 45 min....
When I pick up my handset, I get "This telephone line cannot register to the Vonage network"
Tried a full reset, unplugging cable modem, router, and Vonage router, then re-connecting in reverse order when things come back on.
Still dead.
I'm in the Cleveland, OH area - 216 Area Code.

Other strange thing is it seems the last number I called keeps being forwarded to my Cellphone. It is like there is a virus that has hit the vonage network or something. The should at least post something on their website about service being down if that is the case. It looks like this is a wide spread issue. I see a post from CA and I live in MI .

Post subject: Phantom phone calls repeatedly
getting the same thing, except the calls are coming in repeatedly and filled up my cell phone voicemailbox. I'm shutting my cell phone off and unplugging the phone line. I'm in the Boston, MA area for anyone who's wondering.
