Hello, my girlfriend and I are both students and are sick of our cellphones cutting out in our apartment. Neither of us wants to go with an overpriced Bell landline, especially considering we won't use it much, and when we do, there will be some LD.
Anyway, I have 7Mbps/1Mbps Bell sympatico with the 'home networking' wireless router. I have 1 free port on it. However, during the summer I move somewhere else where my internet is provided to my room through a single wire, hence, it would seem that I would need the routing capabilities of the Moto VT2142. However, i've heard some people have problems with this device and suggest the D-link VTA.
I could live with the VTA, despite it's lack of a routing, as I would only use the routing part 4 months of the year, and could work around it somehow.
So, what do you recommend? Is the VT2142 going to provide equivalent sound quality, etc as the D-link VTA?
Also, will the VT2142 work behind my existing router even though it has routing capabilities itself? I'm assuming it would, but I just want to make sure.
Thanks in advance! |
