I do not want to press *67 every time a call is made. I want the line blocked permanently. This was a deal-breaker for me. I was totally pleases with the service, clarity of calls, setup, everything else.

This should be an offering on my account's feature page where I can toggle every other feature on and off, tc. I can not find another provider that does not offer permanent outgoing caller ID line block.

I'm curious why this feature isn't offered.

I had to deal with that issue everytime since i had the vonage service, I actually switched to Packet8 because vonage wasn't able to add that feature in a timely fashion. I came from the telcos like most everyone here and they had a package that blocks your # from being displayed when calling out, without pressing the laborous *67 everytime you dial out. What kind of ignorant feature was Vonage thinking, dialing *67 EVERY SINGLE time you use the phone. Ridiculous! If you are having this issue, post here or email me so we can get a petition going to get Vonage to add this feature. Or call customer service, if we bug them enough, maybe they will eventually add this!

This is yet another majore blow it for Vonage! Their CID offerings are so 1980's it is no wonder they are loosing customers as fast as they sign them up.
