I've had my iPod for about 1.5 years now and I use it everyday. I can say that it is very reliable and easy to use. Not to say that it doesn't have a few qwirks now and then. The one annoying thing is that after the iPod is charged fully, I take it off the dock, but the battery indicator does not show it as fully charged (although it is). Then, after sitting a few minutes, it eventually shows the full charge.
I don't know if it's just mine, but I'm used to it now.
BTW- This didn't happen with the original firmware that it shipped with. Only after upgrading it. But it's not a big deal.
