Assume I sign up with Vonage and request that my current phone number (with Verizon) be transferred to Vonage. Until the transfer is completed, all my calls will be forwarded to my temporary Vonage phone number.
What if, after two weeks of Vonage usage, I decide it's not for me and cancel the service. Will the transfer process be aborted so that my phone number will remain with me and Verizon? Thank you. |

if you're worried you won't like it, don't submit the paperwork as soon as you get it. I believe number ports can be cancelled, but don't take my workd for it. also, my friend's dad just had his number port in 6 days. So if it ports over and in 8 days you decide you don't want it, chances are it will be over 14 days by the time the number ports back to your original provider. so then you'll be hit with a cancellation fee.
