Req info on pay rate for tier II tech...

Hello all, I posted in the cafeteria but got no response. I have till tomorrow to accept an offer for the tier II tech position but the pay being offered is not commensurate with the job requirements. I asked if it was starting or "training" pay but the recruiter would not specify. I'd like to get an idea of what the top pay for a tier II tech is. You're surprised that you got no response? Take the job or don't.

As a bit of friendly advice, I have hired 30+ people in the course of my short business life. The employee ALWAYS thinks that they are worth more coming in the door than they actually are.

You can advance yourself up the pay scale or you can collect filler for your resume. More often than not the choice is yours.

It's not I feel I'm worth more, (not that I don't Smile

) it's more like the position is worth more. I was hoping to get information on what one could make after a year or so and actual employee feedback. Oh well. Thanks for the reply anyway.
