Post subject: Second line ring issue
ok we are having huge issues with a 3 line system. Here is the setup, 2 Linksys boxes both with 2 lines each. We removed the old land line connection and put these in place. All we did is hook up the lines from the
Vonage
into the splitter and replace the existing.
The issue is on line 1 when you are talking, if line 2 rings you can hear the buzz on line 1. Its loud sometimes. We have been in the circle over and over tried everything we can with tech support they say its the wiring. So we ran a fresh cat5 wire directly to one 4 line phone from the
Vonage
boxes. It still had the same issue, so we put two one line phones on, the sound was much lower but you could still hear it. So we are thinking the phones or the current wires amplify the noise but it has to be coming from the
Vonage
boxes. We have had one replaced and done everything we think
Vonage
will do for us, now we are at a stand still and have an unhappy customer.
If anyone has any suggestion or has had similar problem I would appreciate some help.
Thanks!
