Has Vonage's customer list been pwned? All of the sudden (about 3 weeks ago) I have started receiving postal mail to my home address for a company called "Vonage Holdings". It's all mail meant for a small business (mostly *business* credit cards apps, Pitney Bowes, etc). I don't have a small business (never have) and it's just a plain old residential address I live at in a residential area.
A google search shows LOTS of listings of "Vonage Holdings" 'companies' in my area...
http://www.yellowbot.com/search/?zoom_level=&lat=&long=&reverse_place=&q=name%3A%22vonage+holdings%22&place=cudahy%2C+wi
These all appear to be residential addresses which leads me to wonder whether Vonage's customer list has been retrieved (maybe just for Wisconsin) because my residential home address & phone number are on there.

A google search, restricted to the site milwaukee.com, lists 528 pages of supposed "Vonage Holdings" companies in the Milwaukee area.
At 10 listed per page, that's ~5,280 listings!
It could be random addresses but it seems more likely that it would be a list of subscribers. I welcome the opinion of others, especially those, who like me, are on the list and are Vonage customers. |
