I have the Vonage Motorola box plugged in as per Quick Installation Guide. And all is OK
I have a PC connected into one of the spare ports on the Vonage Ethernet ports. This allows the PC to browse the Internet. However it can’t see the other PC’s on my network. If I plug the PC into the exiting router, It’s OK.
The IP start address on the main router is 192.168.0.200 The IP on the Vonage router is 192.168.15.1
It seems that the Vonage router does not see PC’s on the other router even though it’s connect to it.
Any help would be most welcome
Thanks

You may want to change the dhcp subnet to 192.168.15.100 on the non- Vonage router dr |

He can't do that...you can't have the same subnet on both.
Is the Vonage router connected to your Cable/DSL modem, or your existing router?
So is it:
1. Cable/DSL-Modem-->Vonage Router-->Existing Router or 2. Cable/DSL-Modem-->Existing Router-->Vonage Router |

I have setup 2...my router grabs the IP from my Cable modem. The Router Lan IP is 192.168.15.2, it dishes out the static DHCP address to my 3pc's and the Vonage device which is 192.168.15.101 . The local IP says 192.168.15.1 The other PC's are all on the 192.168.15 subnet. Is this wrong? dr |

If you change your setup to Modem --> Vonage --> Existing Router --> 4 computers then you will bypass the issue with your computers. |

That is the way I have ine set up and it works fine!. I can acess the Vonage router as well as my Linksys router. Also, downstream I have a hub, a switch and a wireless access point, all work fine in this configuration.
BTW, having the Vonage router first "Should" provide QOS management for your Vonage phone service, gving it priority over the downstream protocols. |
