Hello everyone.
First time posting here... I've been reading the forums for a bit, but never felt compelled to ask a question until now!
I posted a question here looking for some assistance with making my Vonage phone work here in Oman.
For anyone in a similar situation, I am writing this for you, as there isnt really any up-to date acurate information that I found in weeks of searching.
You need a Vonage ATA adapter (I have the Dlink one). I also have the Vphone, but its a total load of crap and has never worked. I mean the softphone doesnt even load.
Search for websites that will help you secure your WiFi connection. There is one particular provider that has Wi in it's company name. Purchase a VPN account from them, and then contact their support and explain your situation, they will help.
This is not a plug - I'm just happy I finally got my Vonage phone working again, and want to share the knowledge that IT CAN BE DONE.
Thanks for reading. |

It must be an SSL Encrypted VPN account. Contact your providers and ask them for help. |
