Just tried accessing VM by *123 at 1:40 p.m. Pacific (Area Code 702), and it just keeps ringing. Also when trying to leave a VM message there is a 30+ second delay between the time that the phone stops ringing until my VM greeting starts. So, whatever is going on is STILL going on. UGH. Just glad that I have an answering machine.
Incoming calls though don't show the callers name like they did in the past for KNOWN callers that used to show the name, just "Out of Area" and the 11-digit number. |

F**k whomever at Vonage that green lighted this on the dashboard:
At this time customers may experience an issue retrieving their voicemail when dialing their local access number or *123 or through their web account. Our engineers are aware of the issues and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
**** them. Asshats think we're idiots, or are they are the idiots and don't know what's wrong with their service. Are they aware that people calling in (from Vonage or outside) are not reaching voicemail reliably. This has been going on since at least 1pm EST.
I've tried this and for an incoming caller what happens is they will get:
- continuous ringing that continues "forever" (I hung up after 3 minutes).
- continuous ringing that goes for a while leading that "Lines are temporarily busy" from the woman with the most annoying voice.
- rings for a long time and then goes to vmail.
I would be a little more tolerant if these assclowns weren't such assclowns. Also, 5 hours is annoying. How **** are their is their redundancy? Google is free, but I'm paying for this crap.
Vonage ****, and so does their management. |
