I have observed that unfortunately, Vonage does not yet support efax.com. If a stand alone fax machine transmits a fax through a VonageVoip modem (account), the fax machine will return a communications error message. Vonage tech support personnel in India confirmed that a if you try to send a fax with as stand alone fax machine connected to a Vonage modem to a efax.com account, it will not be successful. The fax machine will give a communications error message. However, the tech support claimed that they are working on making efax.com compatible with Vonage and hope to make it compatible in the near future !!!
