Post subject: V-Phone problem - error message
I purchased a V-phone today since my regular phone was disconnected by
Vonage
BEFORE I received my adapter, etc.............
When I insert the USB device, it blinks a lot like it is installing software; then I get a message;
"Detected V-Phone". Immediately after that message, I get another one;
"please exit the running softphone instance and click retry to proceed with updating the softphone". I did this many times and still got same message.
I also tried to install on another computer, but got the same message.
Running Windows XP.
Any help greatly appreciated.
