It seems like I can't recieve phone calls but I can call out. I tried testing with my cell, ATT/Cingular and it wouldn't dial my vonage number. |

Are you getting a recording or anything when you dial your number? Have you tried reseting your adapter? |

Yep, powered everything off already and reset it. Still get errors. |

I agree. I have two vonage lines on separate adapters (work and personal). Same problem. Both have been reset along with my router.
All cell phone calls in just die out (from tmobile and at&t). Here's the kicker: 5-10 minutes later they ring thru on my vonage lines as if there is a live call coming through.
I can call out to any number no problem.
I don't have a land line to test with.
Vonage to vonage calls working fine.
I'm in southern california (562 and 714 vonage area codes).
I can't find any news on outages...

I am having the same problem... just got my adapter today and thought it was my firewall. That doesn't seem to be the problem, after I called CS they said that it is a know issue in Ind. I am in Wisconsin so might be the same here. Ahh well I hope I do not get any important calls. |

I'm having the same issues. Can't receive any incoming calls, but can dial out. I have had a couple people try from their land phones but they just get a fast busy signal or the all circuits are busy message.
I'm also in southern California. |

See these two posts. It sounds like one of Vonage's service providers has an outage. Currently on hold with Vonage myself (just looking online to see if I can find information while I listen to the groovy hold music) to see what they tell me.
I'm usually in the San Diego area and have a number in area code 619, plus a virtual number in the 703 area code. Can't get through to the 619 number, but the 703 works fine.

Same problem here in the 574 area code. Very annoying. My caller (Centennial Wireless 574) tried 3 times, then called my cell phone. During the conversation my Vonage line rang 4 separate times (about 3 rings each) over an 18 minute period. After this conversation the same caller called me back at about 5 minutes later, it went though, although we were immediately disconnected (static on my end and garbled to nothing on their end), but I suspect their cellular provider was the culprit that time. After that call I tried my Vonage line with my cellular line (AT&T 574) and it went though. Might've been fixed. I'll update if it stops working again. |
