Hi, this may be a stupid question but does Vonage offer a upgrade service on it's devices? When I joined I only needed the VT2442 that came free but now I've moved and I would like to set up a wireless network so I'd like to upgrade to the VT2542 but I can't figure out how to order it. On the main Vonage site when I click on products and click to buy the new device it takes me a sign up page but when I log on I can't seem to find a section to buy new equipment. Maybe I'm just overlooking it but if anyone can help me out that would be wonderful! Thanks in advance!
Actually, I don't think they do offer upgrades. However. of you call the business office and discuss the situation with them, they may be willing to work with you. Take a look at this thread, for example: http://www.vonage-forum.com/ftopic20853.html .
IF you talk to account management, they will more than likely "upgrade" you to the 2542. I use the term upgrade loosely, because the only difference is the 2542 has wifi capabilities.

Vonage allowed me a free upgrade to the 2542. It worked fine for months and now it looses its settings every time it reboots. There are numberous reports of this problem on this forum. I would NOT upgrade until after Vonage gets this firmware bug fixed.
I did ask Vonage to exchange my 2542 out for another device and I was told (twice by two different reps) that the 2542 is the only wireless device that Vonage has in inventory. Customer service is not aware of the firmware bug and was more than happy to send out a buggy 2542 to me.
