Ok... I'm disable the wireless, and unplug the power, for a few minutes. No I just connect the power again, and wait for all the light turn on. I check the router's firmware and is still the same one.

Is another way to update it?

Disabling the wireless feature on the WRTP54G, saving the setting and then rebooting the device, should have allowed it to update the firmware. If this is not the case, contact tech support and tell them you currently have firmware version 1.00.20 on your WRTP54G and the device will not update to version 1.00.62. They can push the firmware update to your device and that will solve the freeze-up problems you're currently having.

yes, I did that, disable the wireless and save the changes.

Is could be a malfunction of the router?

I'm really thinkging in exchange this one, for another.

Do you think I could have better service if I take the PAP2 + WRT54G ?

The device you currently have is fine. The problem is with the firmware version that's currently on the device. Once that's corrected, your device should work. Give tech support a call and have them update the firmware.

I prefer having an all in one unit, one less thing you have to configure. Call tech support and get them to update the firmware for you.

I would also stay away from Emule and just use a bittorrent application.

I'm still in line with the tech support. Almost 1h. They look, like they don't know what happen. We will see what happen. He's looking now for help for others of him co-workers.

Make sure that the wireless feature is disabled on the router. If the wireless is not disabled, this may even be preventing them from being able to update the device.

Ok, I'm back. 2h later, but finally the firmware was updated to the Version: 1.00.62.
I don't think that the tech guy know was what he doing.

Anyway, I have now the lastet firmware.

How I can configure this now, to work with eMuLe o similars?

I went to Applications & Gaming, then Port Triggering, and I had the 2 port, that my eMuLe is using... at last I get High Id now.

is that everything?

How I should configurate the QoS?
