Call up
Vonage
and tell tech support to switch the lines. If you have a bad phone port that may be the trouble.
Lots a stuff is messed up with the
Vonage
computers right now. I tried to add another device to my account and it would not let me, same error as yours. Had to call
Vonage
tech and they said there end is down too. They had to put in a ticket to the higher level to add it. Took like 12 hours.
If that doesn't work tell them to reset the voice gateway. They will give you a different password with which to log into the device. There is a way to do it from your end. The login is user and I can't tell you the password because it is changed every 2-3 hours through updates from
Vonage
. If they don't know where it is tell them its in the config server.
If this doesn't work then you might have a bad device. Hope your in warranty
