Replace my wired adapter...chances?

What are the chances that Vonage would replace my existing wired RT31P2 adapter for free?

I'm having problems with it thats why.

Would they give me the wireless one?

Slim and none would be my guess, unless you bought the RT from them recently. I don't believe they've supplied that box recently.

If you've been a customer for more than a year, their policy is to charge for a replacement. You won't get that same model, but you will get an equivalent, because they don't have the RT's anymore.

But... if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. You might be able to get them to make a deal, if you're on the verge of canceling your account due to the system not working properly.

well I called them up on Friday. I explained to them the problem of the router and mentioned to them that I've been a loyal customer for like 2.5 years. I showed interest in getting an exchange for another router preferrably the wireless one. He transferred me to account management and the lady was nice and not only did she give me the new wireless motorola router but she didnt charge me for it either. So I got a free upgrade. All it's gonna cost me is that I have to ship the old RT router back. Not bad I say.

Not bad I'd agree. Just goes to show that it never hurts to ask.
