Post subject: Adding USB Network Adapter
I have a vt1005v connected with one phone line and one fax line. I want to add a second NIC a Linksys Etherfast 10/100 USB to allow my laptop to access the internet. Is there a setting in my router config that I have to add or change to allow this adapter to connect. So far it can't resolve an IP if connected in the usual way. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Give me a detailed description of what your setup looks like now.

I run XP Pro. I am set to obtain IP automatically. I have 2
Vonage
phone lines. One fax and one phone. My
Vonage
box is setup for the 2 lines and works well for the 2 phone lines. I have 2 powered USB hubs and would plug my Linksys into a spare port with a CAT5 going to my laptop. I run a virtual server on port 21 through the VT1005V using no-ip to resolve any IP changes. I run this through 192.168.102.1
My computer recognizes the Linksys and my laptop shows the cable as not connected. I have setup ICS on my host machine. Firewalls are not active.
