After inquiry, I was told that all of the ports below are open except Port 80 which is used by the ISP. It sounds a bit strange (I thought 80 had to be open for basic web browsing) but there it is.
Off to try another solution (unless anyone has any particular ideas). +++++++++++++ DNS: Port 53 UDP
TFTP: Port 21, 69, 2400 UDP
HTTP: Port 80 UDP - used by ISP
NTP: Port 123 UDP
SIP: Port 5061 UDP
RTP: Port 10,000-20,000 UDP |

Vtalk+VPN works. Vtalk w/o VPN doesn't work.
It looks like the keys are with the ISP at this point. I will also research how to hook a linksys phone adaptor through a VPN on a computer (may need to have the computer as a router for the adapter).
Thanks again for the tip and I'll pass along any further news. |
Any body knows which VPN service should i subscribe to, and what should be the setup to use with the Linksys WRTP54G? |
