How stupid of me. There's me thinking, Voip = SIP = Softphone.
Not unless its Vonage. Yes i should have read the small print, yes i should have researched more thoroughly, and yes like a PRAT i assumed softphone access for a normal account was a given.
I'm staying for the 30 day period and will try to setup the 3CX (free) Voip phone system via a method as yet undetermined so i can connect from a SIP softphone client to the PBX to make calls.
3CX works very well allegedly according to 3CX support.......if you have a softphone account....
