7. I can hear the caller but the caller cannot hear me. Occurs during every call, and started happening 3 weeks ago.

Are you using a 2.4 Ghz Cordless Phone with a 2.4 Ghz Wireless Router? Try turning off the Wireless Router and then make a call.

Are you using a 2.4 Ghz Cordless Phone with a 2.4 Ghz Wireless Router? Try turning off the Wireless Router and then make a call.


if this does not work.try to call tech support. Its a one way calling.they need to do some debugs at their part.Its a problem on your ISP or on one of the proxy server

Yes, I have a 2.4 GHz cordless phone and a 2.4 GHz wireless router (DLink DI 614+). However, this problem just started in the last 1 month. I have been running Vonage at home with the same setup for over a year without issue.

I will disconnect the wireless router and try to make a call in the next week.

Judging from his test results, it should not cause one way audio, if anything some choppy audio but not much of even that.

If it is the phone and wireless router operating at the same frequency (2.4 MHz) - what would be the solution? Change one of them to a different (higher) frequency? And, would operating at the same frequency cause, on occasion, for the caller to not hear me?

Have you tried this? If so, did it help?

My observation from your posts is that it probably isn't the problem directly since you said that it worked for a whole year prior to this problem.

However, another situation might be that a neighbor has also gotten a wireless router or a cordless phone that interferes with your signal. There could be a number of different reasons. One way to deal with this is also to plug a corded phone and see if that eliminates your one way audio problem. It's a divide and conquer approach. You have try either your solution above or mine here and see if that eliminates the problem.
