I am outside US and will ask family member to retail shop Linksys router/adaptor/vonage service retail and hand carry o'seas. What is the best retail deal around and what is the rebate in December? Understand available at Office Depot, Staples, for $99, wondering if there is a better deal. Thank you all in advance. |

Good luck with the rebate. They acknowledge they owe me a rebate and still won't send it.
If I had to do it all over, I would never have even bothered with Vonage.
Average service and dopes in the executive office.

What do you mean they acknowledge they owe you the rebate but still won't send it? Have you had your service longer than 90 days? According to the terms of the rebate, you must have an account in good standing for 90 days before they will send you the check. Then from that point, expect 6-8 weeks delivery of your check. |

I don't want your yearbook answer, I want my money!!!
Read below. Do I need to say any more about the garbage spewing out of the Executive Response Team? If this is supposed to be the CEO's top customer service people, Vonage employees should start job hunting.
FYI, the unspecified reason is MONEY. The longer Vonage has it, the more money they make in interest.
From Ed Banaag Dec. 1st:
"In regards to your rebate inquiry, your submission was delayed for an unspecified reason."
From Vicente Nepomuceno Dec. 2nd:
"I have escalated your request, and your rebate request has been expedited and is in processing. I unfortunately do not have an exact date on when this rebate will be mailed to you, but an estimated time frame is within three weeks."
From Vicente Nepomuceno Dec. 3rd:
"Please disregard my previous email regarding your rebate. I was just informed that your rebate will be sent out within 5-7 business days. I apologize for the confusion and for the delay in relaying the information."
From Ed Banaag Dec. 7th:
"the rebate has been processed, and should be mailed out in the next 5-7 business days."
From Ed Banaag Dec. 22nd:
"I was informed that you were attempting to obtain a status on your rebate today so I contacted the department that is handling the rebates. They show that the rebate has been processed, but has not yet been sent out. I requested information as to why it has not yet been mailed, and as soon as I hear from them, I will let you know."
