Post subject: Lost my VOIP DNS servers - please help
Hi.
Today I needed the DMZ function of my
Vonage
/ Motorolla VT1000v MTA. It doesn't work.
After 45 mins on hold for
Vonage
tech support, a tech told me to go to my MTA's secret screen (http://192.168.102.1/admin.html) and hit the factory reset switch.
That didn't fix the DMZ, but it also knocked out the phone service.
Prior to hitting the factory reset button, I noticed on the secret page a list of "VOIP DNS servers" I didn't memorize them, but I notice they are different now (first octets used to be three digits, now they are two). I believe this is why the device doesn't work.
Anyone willing to look up the numbers from their secret screen and post or PM them to me? Please?
I don't have a cell phone so I'll need to go the mall to wait on hold at a payphone if I can't fix it myself. Argh!!!
