Post subject: Disconnection problems - HELP!!
I ordered the
Vonage
service nearly 4 months ago... tried it and decided it was not for me... and decided to cancel the service. I have sent back the ATA as well as the package originally sent to me and the service has been disconnected as far as I know (I'm not receiving a bill either from vonage). Yet every month I get a phone bill from my new phone company showing my phone dialing out to a Peoria IL # (vonage voice mail #) every few minutes (my phone dial out list looks HUGE.. thank god for unlimited long distance)... PLEASE HELP ME GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM!

my guess is that something (prob a phone) is dialing the voicemail number for some reason. not something that would be normal as a phone would probably need to be dialed either through a memory localtion or something d/c some phones see if it makes a difference. check with
Vonage
and your lec.
