This is happening intermittently. I cannot hear the callers but they hear me just fine.
I called customer support and they had me switch some connections and it did work for a while but now is doing it again.
Any ideas? |

Without that info anything anyone would recommend would be a wild guess at best, you need to give us something to work with. |

4. Modem make and model Motorola Surfboard 4100 this is the cable modem
5. Type of Vonage adapter used ie RT31P2 or PAP2 ?? Motorola vt2142

It certainly doesn't help when you skip over the most important part of that sticky, the VoIP test.

Log into your online acct and change the call quality setting to 50 or 30kbps. See if this helps. I use 30kbps all the time and I think the quality is great. |

Have Cox cable and we are having the exact same problem.
Let's put the blame on Vonage where it belongs. |

Did any changes help? They also suggested a new cable router, claiming that mine is old. |

That is nonsense to suggest to a customer that they need a new router when their service was perfectly fine the day before and they aren't having any other Internet issues.
The problem is something on Vonage's end as so far two people in the same general area are having the exact same problem with 2 different ISPs. |
