Our home has the old 4 prong outlets, with just the plug in modular adapter.
We are remodeling a few rooms and would like to get rid of those ugly things, is it possible to rewire them easily into a standard modular wall jack? We plan on putting everything on Vonage once we are done with the remodel as well..
Been searching for a few hours now and don't see anything talking about rewiring the jacks.

The 4 prong jack should have 4 color wires, red, green, yellow & black. (if it was wired properly) Those 4 wires are the same as the new modular jacks. Just match up the wires to the colors on the jacks.
