Post subject: New connection.
Please can you advise me on the best way to get a
Vonage
phone.
I am currently in India, and am looking at taking the
Vonage
phone with the Motorola 2142 device.
Can you tell me how to sign up for the service. It says that they need a UK address during registration.
Is it possible for me to apply for the connection from India itself?
Do i have to ask someone in the UK to take the connection in their name and address, and then use the service in India.
Also, is there a physical store for
Vonage
in the UK?
The website says that they ship in 5 business days. Are there any quicker ways to get the phone.
Thanks,
Arjun.

You need to sign up through an address in a
Vonage
service area, like the UK or US. Specifically, you need a credit card with such an address.
Before you order the service it would be a good idea to evaluate the quality of your internet service in India. Run the forum
Voip
speed test from a computer plugged in there. Post the results here if you'd like our opinions.
